Home Energy Saving Scheme

The Home Energy Saving (HES) is a scheme which allows people to claim a grant when improving the energy efficiency of their home in order to reduce energy use and costs as well as greenhouse gas emissions.

Landlords and owners of multiple properties may also apply, however they must submit a separate application form for each property.

Flynn's Energy Ratings will provide assistance to homeowners, landlords and developers by way of helping them apply for and receive grants towards the costs of implementing upgrade measures.

The Home Energy Saving Scheme is a national scheme and therefore all homeowners of dwellings built before 2006 may apply. Landlords and owners of multiple properties may also apply, however, they must submit a separate application form for each property. Applicants to the Home Energy Saving scheme must use contractors who are registered with SEI. The GRANT being applied for must be for newly fitted materials and/or products and cannot have been already grant aided in the particular home.
